European for everybody
Europe is a continent of great cultural variety, which already becomes obvious when taking a look at all the different languages spoken here. Europe is also a continent of ongoing economical and political integration, of which the European Union certainly is the most notable embodiment.
To give an idea of the variety of Europe and to make cultural exchange as well as travelling easier, the project "European for everybody. Useful phrases in the official languages of the EU" wants to present a number of basic expressions in all the languages of the member states. It is a compilation of those "little words" which may make arriving in a foreign country much easier.
The website would like to spark an interest in other languages and their speakers as well as the countries those speakers live in.
